When the Japanese were captured

Sunday, December 12th, 2010

During World War 2 the Japanese were captured. They were taken away from their homes because they had bombed Pearl Harbor for freedom. The president had signed an eviction notice that said they had to leave everything that had to do with their  religion and culture. The Japanese were sent to military camps where they were far from civilization. More than 1100 people had been sent to the camps. They were stuck in the middle of nowhere , in a camp, with barbwire and machine guns surrounding them.  The government had no real evidence why all those people were in the camps. When the government let the people visit the towns, no one treated them with respect. Finally when the people were let go they had to do many tests that asked if they were going to join the military, and if they were still going to obey the Japanese king. As the years progressed the Japanese finally got their freedom.

The book called “MONEY HUNGRY” is really good.I didn’t get that far, only to page 42, but the details were really good .It’s talking about how a girl faces many problems , while trying to make as much money as she can because shes very poor. The book sounds like a nonfiction book, but it was titled fiction. It’ s not all sad, because her mom finds a man to live with, considering they live in a bad area. The girl tries to clean someones  house she gets very tired, but she does it to make some money. To me the book sounds like a guide for making money. My favorite part is when the girl gets herself into a fight  in the beginning of the book.I hope you can find this book in the library.

Have you read the book called ”Mick Harriet was here”yet? It’s a really good book ,and it’s not really long either. The story is like a sad, happy type. It’s sad because a girl is talking about how she was mad at her brother before a really bad accident happened to him.But yet it also has happy parts, like when the girls family is really sad she tries to comfort them. The cover of the book tells part of the story, but you have to read the whole book to understand. The details makes it seem like it actually happened in real life. All I’m saying is that you should really read this book.

If I were a type of ice-cream……

Tuesday, September 28th, 2010

If  I was a type of  ice- cream I would be Neapolitan  because I have more than one personalty . Like, vanilla is  my hanging out mood. Chocolate  is  my unhappy mood. And strawberry is my excited and having a great time mood .

When I’m in my hanging out mood I’ll be bored with nothing to do. When I am in my unhappy  I’ll  probably  be mad or upset at someone or something. Finally  when I am in my excited and having a great time mood I will be waiting for something  great to happen.
